I was in an accident and severed three tendons in my forearm as well as damaging the nerve. Physical therapy was never really suggested by my surgeon and I was not given any instruction on what to do while my arm was in a cast for 6 weeks. Is this normal? Everything I have read encourages physical therapy about a week after surgery for injuries to flexor tendons.

Are techs and aides considered to be the same position? Also I have a degree in Exercise physiology and I’m looking into a career in rehab…any suggestions greatly appreciated, certifications?

My boyfriend injured his arm pretty badly. he lost the main artery in it. when the screws come out of his arm they said he will need to go to physical therapy for a while. he thinks since he used to be a personal trainer he can just ask the dr what excercises they will be doing and then he will just do it at home. Is there really a big difference between the two? i wanna make sure he heals right
