I have already decided I won’t get the dsi because I’ve heard it’s too fragile for my 8 year old. So what is the difference between the ds and ds lite? Which is better? Also do they all play the same games or does each system use a different line of games.

I noticed that on the DS Lite if you want to play a different game you have to shut down the Ds then play the new game. It also does that if you want to leave picto chat and after you are done changing information. Do you have to do that or the DSi too? And I heard you can write in rainbow on picto chat on the DSi. Is that true?

I just got a Nintendo DSi and it has a slot for an SD card to hold music and pictures. I need to buy the SD card, though, however, my only way of downloading stuff to it would be through my laptop computer. The length of the slot that is supposedly for an SD card on the laptop looks about the same length as the one on the Nintendo DSi. Do they likely both take the same cards?

I got a DSi and want to find out when the next update is or estimated, I don’t know how to find out…
