What is the audience the US Coast Guard seek to influence? I know this is kind of broad question. Like do they try to influence the Department of Homeland Security a.k.a. their bosses, in order to get a bigger budget to work with. or the US federal government? the President? Any and all opinions would be greatly appreciated.

If a person asks "What is the best camera for photography?" Is it OK to recommend the Nikon D700 or Canon 5D? Should the cost of the hardware be even the slightest part of the consideration in our recommendation?

I’m planning to take ballroom dancing lessons with a partner in the Seattle area (I actually live in Issaquah, about 30 minutes east of Seattle), but we’re not sure where to start. We’re both complete beginners, and we’re looking for something with a little variety–mostly in the smooth dance category: waltz, tango, foxtrot, etc. We’d also like to keep it under a budget of about 60 dollars, ideally 10-12 per lesson. Can anyone help?

I need to set up office space at one end of a building. There is an existing cable modem and router at the other side of the building. I need to be able to use the existing internet access to set up the new office space. We want the solution to be temporary and not break the budget, but it needs to be reliable. I planned on running a network cable from the existing router down to the new space (about 150 feet away), and then using a second router, but from what I have read, it doesn’t work too well. What is the best solution for this? I don’t really have the authority to modify the existing set-up. I thought about just using a switch, but we really need to have wireless capabilities. There are way too many obstructions to get any type of signal off the existing router. Please Help!

I’m looking for a guitar that will help facilitate learning but I’ll still be able to use far after. Is learning the guitar more based on the learner and not the guitar? Also, try to find one on a budget.
A specific electric guitar.
