I’m really curious about it.
i wanna know the history behind it, and how it is now..
but i don’t wanna waste my time reading a whole book about it.
a list of dates of the most important events regarding it would help a lot.

I have my driver licence almost eight months ago in NH. Now I moved to Mas and I pay about $ 210 per month for car insurance. I want to know if I can find cheaper or this not too bad for a new driver. I own a 2000 ford Taurus since two months. What do you think guys?

Seriously, can someone tell me about how people are dealing with the oil spill in the Gulf? How is the environment going to recover from this? I’d like to hear peoples thoughts on this subject…

My family uses a ton of batteries, but I’ve been switching them for rechargeable batteries instead. What do I do with the old single use alkaline batteries? i have 9v AA AAA D C plus the tiny watch baterries.
I know there are recycling plants or stores, but I was thinking if I could use them for something else. Are batteries harmful to me or the environment when not in use, but just sitting there?
Thanks. A link would be helpful.

I could only find statistics on how much is being recycled.
I need a website with these statistics. Please include website in your answer, thanks.

And how much of that position is because the idea of responsibility seems to be disappearing from our economic, political, social and perhaps even scientific communities? "FREEDOM" seems to seduce us into believing that there are no consequences to any of our actions. Human caused GW is a crack in that shell. Is this one reason why some find it so difficult to accept philosophically?
Not everyone seems to see that this is a play on words. As a statement of causality it would imply "We are not responsibile" for…, but it can also be a statement of being… "We are not responsibile"… people. When you ask an irresponsibile child their first response is that, "I didn’t do it…" when your question may only be "what happened."
While many scientists are asking "what is happening" there is a vocal group saying that "we are not responsibile." At the very, least they should be more concerned about the implications of their rhetoric.
It often seems that in other matters those against global warming are the most ardent supporters of political, fiscal and social responsibility, and individual rights yet in this matter the central argument relied upon is that "We are not responsibile." Yet these same people may be among the most ardent supporters of the idea that without individual responsibility there can be no freedom.
