I am most interested in civil engineering, but I keep hearing how there is too many of them and they have a hard time getting a good job with decent pay. I am also interested in software engineering. Money is really important to me as well, so what do you think is the best engineering field to go into (for now and the future), thanks for your time.

I am interested in working with families, but not sold on social work (over worked and under paid). Anyway, I found two majors that do interest me: Child and Family Studies and Family and Consumer Science. What is the difference, if any, between these two degrees? Are you still eligible for the same jobs no matter which degree is earned? Is there a marked difference in salary potential? Thanks in advance!

I’m supposed to do cross-country but it sucks. My legs still hurt from the first practice. How important is it for my college application to have a varsity sport on there?
I’ve only done track (freshman year) and none in sophmore. Do I need this to get into a good school?

I am trying to find out what college in state is considered the best college for pursuing psychology. And if you could throw in some of the schools that are like 2nd or third that would be cool too. I’m just talking about Michigan though, not any other state.

I am completing an application for a fast-food restaurant and they are asking for an Indication of Interest AND a Cover letter/ comments to the recruiter. I know what a cover letter is, but what is the difference between the two? It seems like the cover letter includes the indication of interest.

"Morality is the herd instinct in the individual."
Apparently it’s from the book "Die fröhliche Wissenschaft". Hope that helps.
Thanks.

I can’t decide whether to take BS mathematics or BS physics. I like math because it is less on memorization otherwise in physics which has chemistry in it which requires much memorization but it is interesting. In math, you only see a great percentage of numbers and that’s what makes it a little boring unlike the latter.
Any advice?

I know that "the stars aligned’ means everything fell into place, but it has a positive connotation. Is there a similar phrase that implies a negative result?
Thanks!
